Resource Description
Many campus resources and services require students to present a valid PGCC student ID.  You can obtain a PGCC student ID at the Largo Campus in the Admissions & Records office and the Library or at any of the PGCC Extension Centers. Contact each office directly for current information regarding obtaining a student ID.

Blackboard (Bb) is a Web-based program that serves as the college's online classroom.  You will need an Owl Link account before accessing Blackboard.

Blackboard IM allows students to see who’s online from their classes and instantly collaborate by chatting or connecting thru video. Instant message with fellow students and instructors.
This website offers free tutorials for students who need to quickly learn the basic functions of computers, the Internet, Microsoft Office and more.
Smarthinking
Visit the Smarthinking online tutoring service which provides one-on-one tutoring in a variety of subjects, some of which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

If you are a credit student and need instructional support, visit the oncampust Tutoring and Writing Center located at the Largo Campus.
Online courses may require exams to be administered through the Student Assessment Center located at the main campus in Largo, MD.
PGCC Bookstore supplies the academic community with textbooks, supplies and other tools for the mind. Order your textbooks and other class materials online.
Anytime…anywhere…you have access to an extensive array of online library services, including web based catalogs and databases.
Appropriate educational planning facilitates academic success. The Advising Center helps you make academic choices to reach your educational goals. It is open day and evening to all students on a walk-in basis.
