Register and Pay for an Online Noncredit Course


There are four (4) ways to register and pay for noncredit classes:

 

Web (the preferred method)
Walk-In
Mail (not recommended)
STAR Registration by Phone (only for Returning Students)

 

 

WEB Registration

Web registration is available to all Continuing Education students. 

 

To register online through Owl Link, you must have your current e-mail address on record with the college.

 

Access Owl Link from the college's Web site at www.pgcc.edu:

  • click on "Quicklinks";
  • then "Owl Link";
  • then "Workforce Development and Continuing Ed Students."

WALK-IN Registration

In-person registration takes place on a continuous basis at the admissions, records, and registration area located in Bladen Hall, Room 126 at:

Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Early registration is recommended.

 

 

MAIL Registration

Registration by mail is NOT recommended.  However, if you must complete the registration process by mail, then you will need to complete the registration form and mail it along with your check or money order (payable to Prince George's Community College) or credit card information to:

Please be sure to include your e-mail address on the registration form.

All mail-in registrations should be postmarked two weeks in advance of the class start date.

STAR Registration by Phone

Only Returning Students can use this option to register.  Call 301-499-6612 to access the computer Student Telephone-Assisted Registration (STAR) system.

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
and on most weekends


To use STAR, you must be a current student - enrolled now or in the past two years. Using the STAR phone system, you can:  

  • Register for classes.
  • Adjust your class schedule.
  • Check the balance of your bill.
  • Pay your bill by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
  • Check to see if a particular class is open, full, or canceled.
  • Check the room assignments for your classes.

 

Note:  Once you have connected with STAR, it will explain your choices and guide you through the process you have selected.  But remember, you must be using a true touchtone phone (one that makes a tone sound after each button is pushed) to interact with STAR.
