Wimba Classroom
Wimba Classroom is a live, virtual classroom environment offering two-way voice and video broadcasting, text chat, application sharing, participant polling and whiteboard tools that can be displayed and/or shared with all participants. Wimba Classroom enhances users’ abilities to meet and collaborate online and helps bridge the gap between geographically dispersed students and instructors.
Note: For the optimal experience in Wimba Classroom, a headset with integrated microphone is highly recommended. Headsets are available from stores such as Best Buy, Target, Office Depot or Walmart.

How Do I get this software?
Wimba Classroom must be enabled for use within your Blackboard Course site by the Blackboard System Administrator. After attending the Wimba Classroom Webinar (see below), email eLearning@pgcc.edu to request setup of Wimba Classroom in your Blackboard course. In your request, please provide the name and number of the Blackboard course(s) in which you want to use the tools.
