Professional development to teach online asynchronous (DL) or hybrid (HY) courses at PGCC is open to all full-time and adjunct faculty members. (It is required for those planning to teach a DL or HY course.) The training program, formerly titled Online Express Faculty Training Preparation/OEPrep, was recently revised in keeping with the College's new standards for Online Design and Delivery, which were adopted in fall 2022 and take effect in fall 2023.

If you did not complete the OEPrep training program, you must successfully complete the following three steps in order to teach an online or hybrid course at Prince George's Community College:

  1. Complete the "Teaching Online-An Introduction to Online Delivery" (QM TOL) self-paced training. Click here to register for available dates.
  2. Complete the Canvas First Day Ready Workshop or Test Out.
  3. Complete the PGCC orientation for faculty. Contact OEPrepcoordinator@pgcc.edu for more information.
