Course Description

This course provides an awareness of legal rights within the hospitality industry. The focus is on hotel and food service operations as business entities with responsibilities of managing day-to-day operations. The purpose is to explore the legal rights, duties, and responsibilities connecting guests, public, and employees. Students will examine the possible consequences and legal ramifications when hospitality guests or providers are in breach of obligations, violate legally protected rights, or fail to satisfy legal obligations.
